Central Controller for your Gas Monitoring

The FMS 8700 Gas Warning System is a central control system designed to link various gas detectors featuring a 4 to 20 mA interface to a central monitoring location.

MST Technology's FMS 8700 comprises three major components:

1.  A Control Module with a digital display and power supply for the entire system displaying the gas concentration in ppb, ppm or percent volume.  Included is a visual alarm indicator, an optional audio indicator and a relay output for general alarms and system faults.  A key switch disables external alarms during maintenance and all alarms can be reset by a common reset button.

2.  Alarm Modules individually connected to a specific gas detector by a 2 wire loop.  User settable dual level concentration alarm activate specific relay contacts.  Each Alarm Module features an electronic alarm check, as well as a pre-adjusted alarm delay to avoid false alarms.

3.  A 19" pre-wired rack - the central controller - for the connection of the above plug-in modules.

The FMS 8700 is available in two sizes to house either one Control Module and up to 9 Alarm Modules or one Control Module and up to 21 Alarm Modules.
