The MST Technology gas monitoring products include two major categories – “Point-of-Use” detectors and “Central Monitors”. The unique features of each product type  provide a wide-range of detection capabilities for monitoring toxic gas and chemicals.

The “Point-of-Use” type detectors, like the Satellite transmitter, utilize intelligent gas sensors located as close as possible to toxic gas sources. Because the intelligent sensor is located very near to the potential gas leak it is able to rapidly detect and report small amounts of gas. The Satellite transmitter communicates this information to a control system to stop the flow of gas immediately.

The “Central Monitors” like the innovative ACM 100 utilize a powerful analytical laboratory technology to provide sensitive and highly specific identification of target gases. Central monitors employ air pumps to draw air sample through tubing from the detection area back to the monitor. Different detection technologies assure that a wide range of toxic, corrosive, and combustible gases can be monitored at one central point.
